Ladies Only Basic Handgun Course

Service Description

The same fundamentals as our basic handgun course in a low stress, ladies only environment. Perfect for anyone who has never shot before and wants to learn how to safely handle and shoot a handgun. We will cover all the basics and leave plenty of time for any questions. For those concerned with recoil I will have .22 handguns available to condition you to recoil however by the end of the class you will be comfortable shooting full power rounds. Women can shoot just as well (and often better!) than men and too many times different guns or techniques are recommended to women unnecessarily. Depending on availability I may have my wife join us for the class to give you a woman's perspective and learn alongside you. This course will cover all the following and more: *How firearms operate and which ones might be right for your needs *How ammo works and how to store and handle it *Basic firearm maintenance *Firearm and range safety *The fundamentals of shooting including stance, grip, sight alignment, trigger control and follow through *Dealing with basic malfunctions *How to practice and improve your skills This is not a regularly scheduled class.
