New to handguns or just not feeling as confident as you’d like? This class is designed for absolute beginners who want to become safer, more comfortable, and more capable with their firearm. We’ll cover the basics from the ground up, including handgun nomenclature, how pistols and magazines operate, safe loading and unloading, firearm safety rules, grip, stance, sight alignment, trigger control, and the fundamentals of accurate shooting. This is a no-pressure, beginner-friendly class focused on building confidence and competence. No ego, no intimidation, and no expectation that you already know what you’re doing. The goal is simple: help you safely and effectively handle your firearm and leave with a much better understanding of how to continue training the right way. It should be well-maintained and functional. 100–150 rounds of ammunition. Please make sure it matches the caliber of your firearm. Magazines for your firearm. Eye and ear protection.
