In this day and age it is becoming increasing evident that your ability to protect yourself and those around you is more important than ever. As the saying goes, "when seconds count, the police are only minutes away". Waiting for help and hoping for the best is no longer an option. While many churches have members on a security team of some sorts it is rare to have a comprehensive and rehearsed plan of action for a violent encounter. While churches seem to be working towards addressing these safety concerns, many business with large numbers of employees have no training or planning at all. Comprehensive safety planning goes beyond having members on a specific team who may or may not be armed. How can you make your place of business or worship a less attractive target? Where should your security team be positioned and how should they be trained? What are your plans if there are casualties? Do you have medical supplies and the training to use them? These are all aspects I will work with you on to develop a comprehensive safety plan utilizing the resources you already have along with recommendations on how you can improve your overall response to a serious safety threat. I will work with your security team or help you build one and can provide training and consultation towards ensuring that your facility does not become a target.
