Advanced Handgun - Sunday, November 22 | 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Master precision, speed and efficiency with a full-day in-depth course on pistol shooting.
Service Description
A full day of focused instruction for experienced handgun shooters who want greater accuracy, efficiency, and consistency, and a better understanding of what’s holding them back. There is no secret technique or special upgrade that separates good shooters from great shooters. The difference is how well they understand and apply the fundamentals, consistently and on demand. We’ll dig deep into the science behind those fundamentals and their practical application, helping you understand both what works and why. You’ll leave with valuable drills and a better ability to analyze your own shooting so you can continue making progress on your own. Don’t let yourself stagnate running the same drills and getting the same results. See how good you can get. Prerequisites & Equipment This is not a beginner class. Students must be able to safely and competently draw from a holster and be proficient at handgun fundamentals. Safe firearm handling and adherence to range commands are required throughout the class. Please bring: A reliable handgun in safe working condition. A secure OWB or IWB holster designed for your handgun that fully covers the trigger guard and stays open for safe reholstering. No shoulder, cross-draw, ankle, or soft collapsible holsters. At least three magazines and a suitable way to carry spare magazines. 400 rounds of ammunition appropriate for your handgun. Actual round count will vary; you may not use it all. Eye and hearing protection. Electronic hearing protection is recommended. Weather-appropriate clothing, including warm layers and rain gear. This is outdoor training in November. Sturdy, closed-toe footwear suitable for potentially wet or muddy ground. Lunch, snacks, and enough drinking water for the day. A notebook and pen. If you have questions about your experience level or equipment, please contact us before registering.
