Safariland 6360 Holster

The absolute gold standard of duty holsters. If you need a holster you can trust your life with I would go with Safariland. The level 3 retention holsters are not well suited for simple range use but for law enforcement and military use they are extremely durable with solid active and passive retention. One modification I would suggest is the Nub mod from Oregon Trail Defense. This small, cheap addition makes quick efficient draws much easier and more repeatable. For extended vehicle use (like in a patrol car) the back of the holster can dig into your leg and be quite uncomfortable. A holster pad like the Icevents Aero or the leather Safriland option can make a big difference.

Safariland makes a bewildering number of different holsters with completely incomprehensible model numbers. Be very careful in making sure the holster you select is a correct match for your gun, accessories (weapon light, red dot), ride height, cant, etc.
