Note: In honor of the firefighters involved in the recent Canfield shooting this class is being offered completely free. If you attend please consider making a donation to the Red and Blue Foundation in their honor. There are many people who carry a gun to protect themselves and their loved ones. Protecting yourself in your home or on the street is a very different story than making the decision to run towards gunfire and protect other members of your community. The skill level required to do that is far higher and requires commitment and a high level of training. This class will involve shooting under both mental and physical pressure, shooting moving targets, shooting around non-threats, split second decision making and dynamic shooting scenarios to help inoculate you to the stress of a possible active shooter scenario. We will also be covering correct tourniquet use as even without a gun you can still save lives. This class is for people who are already comfortable drawing from a conceal carry holster but want to take their training to the next level and train for the realities of an active shooter scenario. This class will involve a moderate amount of physical exertion to raise your heart rate and will go beyond standard static shooting drills. Participants will need at least 200rnds of ammo, a conceal carry holster, eye/ear protection and weather appropriate clothing.
